Ethiopian - YirgZ, Farm Direct
Ethiopian coffees from the Yirgacheffe region are world renowned as distinctively floral and aromatic. This exceptionally complex Ethiopian from the Yirgacheffe region is the product of many small farmers' heirloom varietal coffee being processed immaculately. "Zero defect" means this coffee was triple sorted by size, color, and density until it reaches a point of near-perfection. Workers at the mill are paid well to sort the coffee seeds by hand. Yirg for Yirgacheffe, Z for zero defect.
Keffa's Zero Defect Sorting, which takes 3 times longer than other coffees from the region, enhances its clarity in the cup and intensifies the aroma of black tea, the peach sweetness, and grapefruit acidity. Heirloom coffee varieties from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia are known for their citrus flavors. Sweet and refined, this bright Ethiopian coffee will please the perfectionist in all of us.
Our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is a fully-washed, triple sorted heirloom coffee. Some say that coffee takes its name from the Kaffa region of Ethiopia, which is believed to be the birth place of the coffee tree.

Passport is so good! Thank you for the delicious coffee beans!
These are great. mild yet flavorful beans that are not oily so work perfect in my Jura automatic coffee machine.
After living in Ethiopia for 3 years, I was grateful to find a quality, reasonably priced Ethiopian coffee. This is a great roast and definitely compares to coffee in Ethiopia!
We shipped some to a friend and the USPS had a delay. Our friend was desperate for her Passport coffee. Her roommate offered her some “other” coffee but she said she only drinks Passport coffee. I completely understand. “Friends don’t let friends drink Starbucks”!
A favorite sumptuous smooth bean for a superior cup of coffee!
